The mission of the Germantown Baptist Church Homeschool Support Group is to BUILD and ENCOURAGE you in your call to homeschool. As a ministry of Germantown Baptist Church, our vision is to equip homeschool moms through the study of God's Word on a weekly basis, while providing quality enrichment, middle and high school classes for school age children at minimal cost in addition to quality childcare for their preschoolers at no cost.
We believe the call to homeschool is first and foremost from God. Yet as homeschool moms, we get so busy with the call that we have little time left for the Caller. God has said, SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU AS WELL. When we come together to study God's Word with the willingness to obey what we learn, we have seen firsthand how He provides ample time to accomplish all HE has called us to do! Not only are we blessed with "enrichment" classes for our children, but our families are "enriched" because we are being transformed by the renewing of our minds in His Word!
The classes meet from 9:30-12:15 every Tuesday. Moms come together to study God's Word the first two class periods and have the last period of class time (THE HOMESCHOOL HELP HOUR) to discuss homeschool matters, hear guest speakers, work on support group activities or chat with friends. All GBCHSG members are invited.
Our Kindergarten - 5th grade enrichment classes are now offered exclusively for moms who wish to participate in Bible study. As a Bible study participant, you are given support group privileges at no cost and priority registration for our 6th-12th grade courses. The ladies in this group are from many churches and denominations, but the blood of Christ, the fellowship of His Spirit and the Word of God bind us together. Our 6th-12th grade courses are offered to support group members and the homeschool community. Please see our classes page for details and check our calendar for the exact dates, forms and requirements for each registration.
As a Homeschool Mom's Bible study participant OR a Germantown Baptist Church Support Group (GBCHSG) member, you will enjoy benefits such as the Children's Harvest, Valentine's and Easter parties, regular skate parties, various field trips, Mom's Night Out, Achievement Testing, Homeschool Help Hour, Used Book Sale, regular email updates within the group, Family Christmas party, annual family picnic, Chess Club, Student Council and their annual carnival, just to name a few!

Dues will be accepted for fall and spring until the first day of classes each semester (check calendar for these dates each September and January). There is no discount for joining the spring semester.
