Senior Adults

 

Germantown Baptist Church Senior Adult Ministry provides a variety of ministries and activities to and by Senior adults that will make a difference in lives of people for now and for eternity.

• Urge our Seniors to actively share their faith with others and seek to lead their friends to exercise saving faith in Jesus Christ.
• Enable Seniors to enjoy a full and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and fellowship with each other, and with other ages in the congregation.
• Encourage Seniors to maintain consistent and joyful involvement in life changing Bible study and Christ centered worship.
• Coordinate the consistent use by Seniors of their spiritual gifts and Christian experience to minister to the church and to others in the com munity.
• Enrich their lives through participation in enjoyable activities and trips in a Christ centered atmosphere.
• Facilitate the expression appropriate Christian esteem, honor and love toward Seniors in the church.
• Provide appropriate Christian care and encouragement during times of difficulty and loss.
