Our desire is to point every woman God sends our way in the direction of the one thing that is needed ...TIME IN HIS WORD... resting in our Lord's promise that it will not be taken away! Living in a world that constantly demands our time and attention, we must make a deliberate CHOICE to sit at Jesus' feet just as Mary did, or we like Martha will become worried and upset about many things. What an amazing opportunity the Lord has given us to equip the homeschool mom through the study of God's Word on a weekly basis while providing enrichment classes and support for each child God has called her to educate at home!

We do believe that call to educate your children at home is first and foremost from God. Yet as homeschool moms, we get so busy with the call that we have little time left for the Caller. God has said, SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU AS WELL. When we come together to study God's Word with the willingness to obey what we learn, we have seen firsthand how He provides ample time to accomplish all HE has called us to do, even if we "give up" Tuesday mornings!

The ladies who participated in Bible study with us at GBC each year are from various churches and denominations in the mid-south, but we know the blood of Christ, the fellowship of His Spirit and the truth of His Word brought the unity He prayed for in John 17! No matter your background, we invite you to "taste and see that the Lord is good" with us.

THERE IS A PLACE FOR ALL OF YOUR CHILDREN WHILE YOU STUDY GOD'S WORD . . . preschool childcare, Discover For Yourself Bible studies for students in K-5th grade, study hall or enrichment classes for students in K-12th grade. High school students are welcome to participate in Bible study with mom if they so desire.

After Bible study on Tuesday mornings, moms may choose to continue in prayer and further discussion of the lesson or visit with other moms during the remaining forty minutes of HOMESCHOOL HELP HOUR. This last period is a time where mom is encouraged through occasional guest speakers on homeschool matters and exchanging ideas with other homeschool moms. Students are provided support ministries such as Chess Club, Drama Club, God's Girls, Student Council and more.
