Completed Missions Trips

Dominican Republic

Contact: Dottie Weir
Dates: May 28-June 2, 2007
Overview: A flight will be chartered to take a team to the southern portion of the Dominican Republic. The team will offer medical services, crafts, sports, dental and other crowd-drawing activities to share Christ. People are directed in-home to Bible studies or church starts to continue their spiritual journey. Cost: $1,250.
Results: Each team kept its own numbers based on its own criteria. Our team did not count children nor poll every team member. This was to take into account double-counting of professions of faith (two people sharing with one person at the same time). Then when all five teams reported their numbers, we subtracted 10% to adjust again for potential double-counting. 4,434 heard the Gospel to the point that they were asked to reveal the desire of their heart (“yes” or “no”). 1,937 chose to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. (Romans 10:9-10)
